After starting sixth on the grid, Neal watched as the race unfolded in front of him. Some fantastic overtaking resulted in Neal following Giovanardi and Plato through the bombhole as they clashed and took to the grass. Keeping his cool Neal drove his line perfectly and overtook both of them as they crossed the circuit in front of him,.
Once in front Neal took advantage of his position and strode away to a fantastic 2nd place.
Flash Gordon also had an inspired drive from the back of the grid to eventually finish in 5th place.
Neal stated "Well it all kicked off in that race! I could see going into the bomb hole that two into one wouldn't go and just waited to pick up the pieces!! A great weekend overall and another decent points haul takes us closer to Giovanardi and Plato"
